· Create the linkages to allow the local Therapeutic Goods and Biotech producers to flourish creating a new regional skills focus for the long term good of the region as a whole
· Create a jobs network for skilled graduates and increase the local career market
· Opportunity for new levels and types of training – both skilled and semi-skilled and the opportunity for training including TAFE, University and Post Graduate
· Opportunity to involve local research institutions to create the environment wherein local inventions and develops may be cultured and bought to market thus increasing the “intellectual and social” capital based within the Hunter Region
· Opportunity to create a genuinely Expert Focus within the Hunter for Therapeutic Goods and the Biotechnology sector
· Involvement with the Government to bring Investment into the Hunter and build long term value into infrastructure at all levels
